We're so glad you decided to get to know a little more about us.
We were made for Jesus. And our hearts are restless until they find rest in Him. To find Jesus is to find the reason you exist and the source of true joy. We gather on Sundays to celebrate our risen Lord, and invite you to join us!
If you aren’t sure about the whole “Christian thing” then we extend a special invitation to you. Come as you are. Watch and observe, and ask questions. Doxa is a safe place for doubters and skeptics. We believe you will find the rest and joy you’ve been longing for all your life!
What to Expect
We gather together as a family to worship Him on Sundays at 10am at the Clair Chapin Epps YMCA. We encourage everyone to get there early to enjoy a time of fellowship and good coffee. Our service is generally about 90 minutes, and we do our very best to honor that! In service we worship our Lord in song, by the reading and preaching of His Word, and in the weekly act of communion. We tend to preach through a book of the Bible! This helps us to be a people that take God at His Word. If you want more details or want to listen to one of our messages then go check out the current series and sermons!
If you have children anywhere from an infant to 5th grade, then they will be well taken care of in Doxa Kids. We believe that kids need the Gospel just as much as the adults. Our highly qualified Doxa Kids team works very hard to present a rich Gospel-central environment for children of all ages. The children enjoy worship songs, messages, and activities that point them to Jesus every week. Generally, they will be going through the same book of the Bible that the main service is going through, but at a pace that is tailored for them. All volunteers in Doxa Kids are background checked and the rooms where the children meet are all secure and locked to ensure their utmost safety. Please try to get to Doxa early to have time check in any children, so that you can join the family in worship at 10am!
Above all, we pray that you will see, hear, and experience Jesus in the songs we sing, the Gospel we proclaim, the prayers we pray, and the way we love each other.
